It could be cool if there were some option à la ./deploy.sh test, where it would instantiate a VM, and deploy to it. It would probably have to turn off LetsEncrypt/TLS, and use a different hostname you'd want to put in /etc/hosts, but otherwise it shouldn't be that difficult.
